Snack World is a locally owned Kentucky specialty snack retailer built around one simple idea: shopping for snacks should be fun.

We bring together an ever-changing selection of candy, chips, drinks, ramen, freeze-dried treats, nostalgic favorites, novelty foods and hard-to-find products from across the United States and around the world. From familiar brands in flavors you may have never seen before to products trending across social media, there is always something new waiting to be discovered at Snack World.

Our goal is to create a place where customers of all ages can walk through the door and find something unexpected.

Maybe it is a drink imported from Japan, a candy from another country, an unusual flavor of a familiar snack, a retro favorite you have not seen in years, or something that just went viral online. Snack World brings those products together in one fun, easy-to-shop destination.

Candy is certainly part of what we do, but Snack World was designed to be much more than a traditional candy shop. Our stores bring together a wide variety of products, including international snacks and candy, unique and hard-to-find drinks, chips and savory snacks, ramen and other international foods, freeze-dried treats, bulk candy, retro and nostalgic favorites, novelty foods, unusual flavors, viral products, ice cream, frozen treats and popular American snacks.

We are constantly searching for interesting new products to bring into our stores. Because trends change quickly and new products are released all the time, our inventory changes with them.

That means a visit to Snack World today may look a little different from a visit a few weeks from now — and that is exactly how we want it.

One of the most important parts of the Snack World experience is discovery.

We do not want customers to feel like they already know everything they are going to see before they walk through the door. Our team is continually looking for new flavors, new brands, international products, limited releases and interesting items that give customers a reason to explore.

Some products may become longtime customer favorites. Others may only be available for a limited time before something new takes their place.

Snack World began in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, in May 2026 with the opening of our first location.

After seeing the excitement customers had for the concept, Snack World expanded into the Louisville market with the opening of our second location in Jeffersontown in August 2026.
